A skin analysis is performed so that we get a good picture of your skin condition and what your wishes are. In addition, it is discussed how many treatments are needed, what results you can expect, what the costs will be and you receive information regarding pre- and aftercare.

What does the Dermapen4 do?
The Dermapen is a unique device especially intended for microneedling. The pen has very small needles that vibrate in the skin. The depth of the needles can be adjusted in millimeters so that channels are created at a regulated skin level without damaging the epidermis. The natural recovery process of the skin is started from these micro-channels. This releases factors that are responsible for the production of collagen and elastin fibres. These proteins give the skin firmness and elasticity. The absorption capacity of the skin is also increased during the treatment, so that the active ingredients of the products used are optimally absorbed. This means that the Dermapen can also be combined with other treatments.
Your skin will be analyzed to determine the intensity of the treatment. This is adjusted to your complaint and skin type. Your skin will be cleansed after which the treatment can begin. A serum is applied after which the Dermapen4 is moved over your skin. The treatment will feel like small pricks in the skin and is generally well tolerated.
How do I prepare my skin for a Dermapen4 treatment?

For optimal treatment results, you should also use the Dp DermaceuticalsTM at home. This is to prepare, strengthen and firm the skin (especially for thin or vulnerable areas of the skin). Continue to use the Dp DermaceuticalsTM for a period of 2-3 weeks prior to and after DermapenTM treatments. The Dp DermaceuticalsTM range is of a medical level with powerful active ingredients for anti-aging and also works as corrective skin care and is of course also extremely suitable as your daily care.
The range includes a cleansing, a scrub, a moisturizing cream, specific treatment creams and a 3D facial mask. There is also a medicinal and breathable camouflage with an SPF factor of 30. This is the Cover Recover which has been specially developed as a daily anti-aging make-up and ensures immediate recovery before and after the treatment.
What will I look like after a treatment?
You may have a red face for 12-48 hours after the treatment. Applying the Cover RecoverTM will camouflage and heal the skin so that you can immediately resume your daily activities.
The use of a protection factor is also necessary to prevent pigment shifts (minimum SPF 30). There are excellent products that match the treatment in the salon and which I recommend that you use at home. Sports or sauna use on the day of treatment is not recommended. Make-up use can be resumed the day after the treatment.
Result
The result of the treatment depends on the complaint and the thickness of the skin. In addition, the process that is initiated in the skin needs time to achieve the desired results. After an average of 2 to 4 weeks, improvement will be visible. The final result will gradually become visible after a few treatments. That is why a treatment of the Dermapen is only available as a cure.
Risks
When the precautions are observed, normally no side effects occur. However, if you expose the treated skin to sunlight, there is a risk of pigment spots developing.
A course of several treatments gives the best results. What this treatment looks like depends on the skin problem. A cure is tailor-made (based on the skin condition), you will receive an overview of the costs and duration prior to the cure.
