- Abnormal Scarring: History of developing keloids or hypertrophic scars. Your skin's reaction needs to be evaluated beforehand.
- Immunosuppression or Autoimmune Diseases: Medical conditions that significantly affect your immune system (such as Lupus or uncontrolled HIV).
- Use of Photosensitive Medications: Taking certain antibiotics, oral retinoids (like isotretinoin within the last 6 months), or drugs that increase skin sensitivity to the laser.
